EVA Chef Shoes
Running manufactures EVA chef shoes for kitchen footwear distributors, catering suppliers and private-label brands. Our main kitchen models combine an EVA body with a rubber outsole, with black, white and custom colors available.
When sourcing chef safety shoes, compare the size system, outsole specification, foot coverage and any required toe protection. Published options include paired sizes from 36/37 to 50/51 for RNE-116 and individual sizes from 37 to 47 for RNE-117. Listed models have an MOQ of 1,000 pairs, with branding and packaging requirements reviewed during quotation.
| Model | Body / outsole | Published sizes | Published configuration | MOQ |

Different kitchen roles involve different levels of walking, floor contamination and splash exposure. Choose your chef shoes according to the task, then confirm fit, outsole performance and any required toe protection.
| Application | Typical working conditions | Recommended selection |
|---|---|---|
| Restaurant kitchens and food preparation | Frequent movement between preparation counters, cooking stations and storage areas; occasional water and food spills | Start with RNE-117 for individual sizes 37–47. |
| Hotel kitchens and banquet catering | Teams covering multiple stations, varied foot sizes and repeated walking during service | Compare RNE-116 for its wider paired-size range with RNE-117 for individual-size allocation |
| Bakeries and pastry kitchens | Prolonged standing at preparation benches; flour, dough and occasional grease on floors | Compare cushioning, fit and tread cleanability. Compaer RNE-116、RNE-117 与 RHE-401 |
| Dishwashing and cleaning areas | Frequent splashing, detergent residues and continuously wet floors | Assess footwear coverage first. Where low shoes leave too much exposure, select taller food-processing boots |
| Central kitchens and meal production | Repeated preparation, portioning and packing tasks; coordinated staff footwear purchasing | Select general kitchen footwear or higher-coverage washdown footwear |
| Food-processing and wet production areas | More extensive washdown, wet ingredients and potentially greater splash exposure | Start with the EVA food boots range where taller boot construction is needed |
| Your requirement | Recommended starting point |
|---|---|
| Staff need individual sizes within 37–47 | RNE-117 |
| Your stock needs larger sizes above 47 | RNE-116 |
| You want fewer size groups in your assortment | RNE-116 |
| Your kitchen has wet or greasy flooring | Compare the rubber-outsole kitchen models |
| Staff walk frequently between workstations | Compare heel retention and fit across samples |
| Employees require protective toe caps | Request a specifically documented protective version |
| Work involves frequent washdown or higher splash exposure | Consider taller food-processing boots |
Lightweight body: EVA foam helps reduce the mass of the shoe body. Compare finished shoes in the same size, including their outsoles and insoles, when evaluating weight.
Separate ground-contact component: A rubber outsole allows the walking surface to use a different material from the cushioning EVA body.
Cushioned feel: EVA provides a softer underfoot feel. Fit, insole shape and firmness should be evaluated together for long shifts.
Practical cleaning: Molded surfaces can be wiped or rinsed according to the model’s care instructions.
Simple workwear colors: Black and white options support different uniform programs, with custom colors available for brand orders.
| Feature | What it addresses |
|---|---|
| Slip resistance | Traction under specified floor and contaminant conditions |
| Oil resistance | Material performance after exposure to specified oils |
| Protective toe cap | Toe protection for specified workplace requirements |
| Water-resistant or waterproof body | Liquid entry through the shoe body |
| Heat protection | A defined thermal exposure |
Choose chef safety shoes according to the required function. An oil-resistant material claim does not, by itself, establish traction on an oily floor.
| Size option | Practical benefit |
|---|---|
| RNE-116: 36/37–50/51 | Eight paired-size groups, including larger sizes |
| RNE-117: 37–47 | Eleven individual size labels |
| Additional sizing | Can be discussed as a customization requirement |
Before bulk production, approve sample fit with the intended socks. Request internal length and forefoot width measurements rather than relying only on size labels.
Running supports customization requests for chef footwear, including:
Brand identity: Logo, labeling and artwork placement.
Colors: Black, white or an approved custom color.
Insoles and outsoles: Component changes subject to model compatibility and sample approval.
Sizing and shape: Existing tooling review or development requirements for a different fit.
Packaging: Retail packaging and export-carton specifications.
Start with a selected model to make the quotation more precise. Changes to construction may require new samples and a review of product performance.
Remove food residue and dirt from the outsole tread.
Follow the selected model’s cleaning instructions.
Allow footwear to dry before the next shift.
Inspect the sole and replace worn or damaged footwear.
For EVA chef shoes, the published care instructions specify water or mild detergent, natural air drying, and avoiding direct heat.
Which model should I choose for a broad size assortment?
Start with RNE-116 if you need paired sizes extending to 50/51. Choose RNE-117 for individual sizes from 37 to 47. Approve fit before setting your final size ratio.
Are all EVA chef shoes steel-toe safety shoes?
A protective toe must be confirmed for the selected model. Share the workplace requirement when requesting chef safety shoes so the appropriate configuration and documentation can be reviewed.
Are oil resistance and slip resistance the same?
No. Oil resistance concerns material performance after exposure; slip resistance concerns traction under specified conditions. Check both where your workplace requires them.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The listed product pages state 1,000 pairs. The quotation should clarify the minimum per style, color and configuration.
